Tarpon Springs is a treasure trove of fun and surprises.

Spend an afternoon, a day, the weekend or your vacation in this old-world village – a throwback to the mid-1800’s when it became the playground of the rich and famous, to the early 1900’s when the Greek sponge divers arrived.

Tarpon Springs has changed only slightly, making it an adventure for the whole family. Discover the treasures that we have to offer – history, an aquarium, museums, water activities, golf and tennis, fishing and kayaking – even Segway tours!

Treasures abound in our Historical Antique District on Tarpon Avenue, as well as throughout the Sponge Docks, our Greek sponging and fishing village. The Port of Tarpon is a working port with sponge, fishing and shrimp boats, plus our tour boats.

Our restaurants are incomparable. If you like Greek food, this is the only place to be. How about a Greek pizza? You can find fabulous food from almost every country and taste and, yes, we have fast food, too! Our night life goes from jazz to belly dancing. Or relax by the water and enjoy the sights.
